The Objective of the Aichi Arts Promotion Service
The Aichi Prefectural Arts Promotion Service seeks to present art from
fields that are for the most part ignored by the entertainment industry
despite being substantial works. Thus, a series of projects related to
genres that do not normally receive the recognition they deserve such as
contemporary dance, experimental and ethnic music, experimental film, and
public art are being undertaken in a flexible manner to deal with the multi-faceted
artistic expressions of today. These projects are conducted by the Aichi
Prefectural Museum of the Arts, which systematically presents works of
20th century art, the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater, where opera and other
performance works are presented by the Aichi Arts Foundation, and the Aichi
Arts Center, a complex cultural facility. |
