    - What the role of Art Management should be in assimilating artistic activities into local communities?"
January 13 and 14, 2002, Art Space A, D, E, F
Organized by the executive committee of Toyota Art Management Seminar Nagoya Session
and Toyota Motor Corporation
Co-sponsored by Aichi Arts Center planning and program committee
and Aichi Toyota Marketing Corporation Group

Plenary: "Management that brings art and locality together"
Section meeting 1: "How to establish contact with the local community"
Section meeting 2: "Construction of Networks"
Section meeting 3: "How to approach the business community for support of artistic activities"

This seminar series was initiated in 1996 by the Toyota Motor with the purpose of seeking support of the business community for artistic activities. The session this year discussed how art management should work in order to be a go-between for artists and the local community. The participants were required beforehand to prepare their own tentative plans for presentation at respective meetings. It was recognized that the facilities that enable the staff to further develop their art management abilities should be enforced.(N.A.)
